It is our stated intention to maintain the house in a condition as close to the original as possible.

The house was built in 1787, and at over two hundred years old has weathered hurricanes, droughts, famine and war. The oldest building on Anguilla, and an integral part of its history, the house must continue to be maintained for future generations

Wallblake House was left to the Catholic Church in 1976 for use as a presbytery, and has been leased from the church for the use of the people of Anguilla. The Wallblake Management Committee has been formed to oversee and maintain this once beautiful mansion.
