Sally Janin moved to Anguilla in 1997 with her chef husband Claude, taking a break from her careers as a telecommunications deregulation lawyer, professional photographer, and restauranter, to take up new challenges as a full-time mother.

In October 1997, Sally took a series of photographs of Wallblake House, inside and out, using professional equipment. These shots were developed in the USA and then scanned into the computer in Anguilla.
